We'll be accepting submissions through January 8th. Email your photo to and in...clude the following info – a photo caption, subject of image, where it was taken, date photo was taken and name of photographer(s).

For all categories - If you choose to include recognizable people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, and must be able to provide copies of those releases to The Friends upon request. Entrants must not submit images that involve human nudity, the willful harassment of wildlife or damage to the environment by the photographer; place any individual or animal in danger; or infringe on the rights of any other photographer or person. Please do not submit a photo you entered in our previous photo contest in 2015.

Just another Saturday in the Bronx: Dec 2, Loving the Bronx's last 2017 It's My Park day event with @partnershipsforparks at Virginia Park and Hugh Grant Circle. We worked beyond schedule, no one wanted to stop! We planted 900 daffodil bulbs, @newyorkersforparks 's Daffodil Project!!! Shout out to Gwyn Nilsen who planted 500 bulbs at Hugh Grant Circle with the help of Isaias ! Shout out to @bronxsole for their endless support! Shout out to our new friend Marlea, so glad to you again! And to our veteran volunteers Mark Q, Leslie Menard and the fabulous @kashawnwright - we love you!!!! Our sweeter than life neighbor @keila_sol , our buddies @jamesweather @michaelgermanalejandro Vanessa, Teresa and Yannet, Myno, Santos and their friend who didn't sign in, lol, thank you! To our youngest volunteer, Jayleen @hova65 , 5, we absolutely adore you! They collected 48 bags of leaves and planted 400 bulbs at Virginia Park. And cant forget to shout out the amazing senior outreach coordinator who assists in all our community programming and service events, @leenda_nyc ....... none of this would be possible without YOU!
