How cool is this? We love our libraries, and we love learning more about the history of cycling in Charleston.

Can we get an oval track back on the corner of Meeting and Brigade?!

we are proud to announce that coastal cyclists have chosen LCR to help out with their spring century 2018! we will have cyclists from our team in both categories: metric century 18-20mph + 22-24mph and full century 20-22mph + 22-24mph. our cyclists will take other riders on the metric century and full century at established speeds, so they don't have to "find" a paceline that suits their speed. look for our pace group signs at the start. the coastal cyclists host the annual s...pring century (formerly known as the "after the bridge run ride") which has been held for almost 20 years. this ride is their main fundraising source and funds their activities for the year. one of their main reasons for hosting this event is to raise money for the palmetto cycling coalition and charleston moves. these cycling advocacy organizations work to create more and better places for citizens to ride bikes. if you want to participate in this great event or know someone who is interested, follow the link below:

every tuesday, low country racing and ride bikes host an event that pushes you to ride harder and faster.

meet up at the ride bikes shop in west ashley and ride down the greenway to the corner of main road and chisolm road. follow chisolm road all the way down to st. johns high school and then back again. this is a drop ride, but will regroup at the high school. 24-30 pace.

time will change from 5:30 to 6:00 in the near future. we'll keep you and this event page updated, as... well is if there are any cancellations due to weather or other reasons.

ride hard! ride fast! ride bikes!
