Peter’s BoyII is now ready to move to his new home after six months of being produced by working pupils under the careful eye of Lucinda Fredericks.

Peter has previously done two seasons hunting with a lady rider and has now been concentrating on flat work, XC schooling, unaffiliated dressage and show jumping and is fit, clipped and ready to continue his work through the winter.

Won and placed hunter trials, double clear 80 cm unaffiliated events and completed clear three out of three BE 90s with amateur riders. Delightful temperament, total gentleman, safe, clever and careful cross country. Easy to do and handle and will live in or out. Really wants to please in every way.

Please call Lucinda Fredericks on 07909 910097 or email cinda@lucindafredericks.com to arrange a trial over half term or to find out more.

Price: £9,500

What a fun weekend of hunter trials and events.

Ellie won her 100 cm open hunter trial event at West Wiltshire on Moley and Pedro’s boy was placed 10th in the 90 event.

Alex Chapman, my newest working pupil rode Zoe’s horse Bertie and one of our newest horses Silver in his first hunter trial, he joined Ellie riding Elzy and placing 7th in the pairs event.

...

This week I will be working hard training Dauntsey’s team so that they are ready for the championships and I will then be heading out for the weekend to coach Willemina at Le Lion.

A great event at Bovington BE90 for Hen and Libby (Lucinda's current working pupil).

Libby commented “I had a cracking win which still hasn't sunk in. We managed to get a dressage score of 28.3 which put us in the lead after the first phase. We then had a clear round show jumping which was very lucky as I did miss a few strides. Rocky flew round cross country picking up time penalties for going too fast ! Not sure how we managed that. All in all it was an amazing day and I ...still can't quite believe that I won !!”

Lucinda commented "I am so delighted that Libby won with her own horse Rocky. Libby joined us in September as a working pupil with a goal to move through BE100 up to novice with her horse Rocky by the end of the next season so I will be working with her to achieve that goal".

Henrietta Gossage rode Lucinda's horse Peter’s Boy and went beautifully in dressage and XC but unfortunately dropped a couple of rails in the SJ which sadly left him out of the placings but ending in 21st position. It was Hen’s first ride on him and she can’t wait to ride him again.

Peter’s Boy is now ready to move to a new home and will shortly be coming up for sale, he’s a really kind, sweet horse to deal with and will give a new rider a lot of fun. Please get in touch if you would like to come and try him over half term. Marketing@lucindafredericks.com http://www.lucindafredericks.com/…

Dauntseys Schools Jumping Style, Wickstead and Calmsden BE100
What a fun filled, busy birthday weekend for Ellie.

Ellie represented her school at a jumping with style competition at Wickstead, near Swindon and placed in the 90 as well as helping the 100 team to qualify for the school championships at Addington on the 20th October.

...

We then took three horses to Calmsden on a really beautiful day and a fantastic event. Ellie did her best test on Moley to date with a super SJ round but then unfortunately tipped off during XC, she jumped straight back on and finished but was left wondering how and why she fell off earlier on.

She also had a fantastic round with Shrimp who did a super double clear to finish a very competitive 10th place. Shrimp is now on a very well deserved holiday, while Moley is preparing to represent Dauntsey at Addington. After this event he will also have a break.

A great result also for Henrietta Gossage, my ex working pupil who was riding Bridget and Simon Hall’s Ordnance Hill and finished in 13th place.
Thank you to Karen Smith, Bridget and Simon Hall for their amazing support for Ellie this year, it’s been so much fun and kept me sane with not being able to ride myself this year and such a pleasure to go out with great horses, fantastic owners and amazing supportive sponsors. Seeing Ellie improve and producing these two lovely “Honies” is wonderful, as well as seeing her learn from her mistakes and enjoy the challenge of the fantastic sport of eventing.
