URGENT NOTICE - DOGPAW parks could be closed due to leash law violations!
Our DOGPAW dog parks are only possible through a partnership with other agencies such as Bonneville Power and Clark County. We must ensure that the leash law is followed, or our dog parks will be closed due to noncompliance.
What does this mean? All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when on public property, including the streets and parking lots that serve our dog parks. Dogs must stay leashed ...until they are inside the gates of the off-leash parks and must go back on a leash before exiting the gates.
Most recently, we have received a last chance notice of closure at Ike / Ross unless leash laws are followed at all times, but we have also received warnings at Lucky, Dakota, and Kane for dogs off-leash on public property.
We are adding signage to our parks reminding people of the leash laws. If you see people disregarding the law, would you please point out the signs and relay how critical this issue is? It would be terrible for so many who follow the law to lose the dog parks because a few people didn’t know about the law or the risk to all of our parks.
Lucky Memorial Off-leash Dog Park will be closed 8 AM to Noon on April 14th and 15th for Fast CAT trials. Registration and Entry Fees are required to run to your dog in these events.
All 4 events are open to all breeds, including mixed breeds that are registered with AKC. Spayed and neutered dogs are eligible. If you have a mixed breed dog the dog for $19 with the AKC Canine Partners listing at
Pre-entry cost is $23.50; day of entry cost is $30

Report all incidents online at https://dogpawoffleashparks.org/contact/ or call and leave us a detailed message about it. You can also message us here at FB. We are keeping records to help our talks with the County.
NOTICE: In preparation for winter’s colder temps all water in all DOGPAW off-leash parks will be turned off. Don’t forget to start bringing your water and bowls to the parks with you!
