Gearing up to begin a 2 1/2 day community “Work That Reconnects” immersion in a tiny town in Northeast Alabama and I couldn’t be more humbled and excited. I believe in listening to many different communities around this country and world. I believe in strengthening resilience and honoring heartbreak in the American South. I believe we can be allies. I believe in the power of the music born in these places. I believe in visioning not only in West Coast communities. In this first-of-its-kind course, Joanna with guide us through selections from her 5-decade writing career, gathering us at a well of timely teachings on seeing clearly, feeling deeply, and acting for life with great love.
