This describes the scene at Nick and Carly Bunde's wedding last night: a reception venue overlooking the Toledo Mud Hens baseball field at Hensville, Josh Nagel shooting movie-quality video--sometimes with a drone buzzing around, Collin Pahle and Jim Ross both DJing together (usually, we DJ in different locations/parties) keeping the party hopping, meeting the awesomely kind and fun Krueger family (Gerry, we'd party with you anytime, brother) and catching up with many Whiteford friends, several of whom were former student of Jim Ross. In summary, we had a blast. Thanks for hiring MR. MUSiC DJ SERVICE to share this day with you. 🎵
MR. MUSiC DJ SERViCE celebrates the union of DJ Collin Pahle to his lovely wife Beckah on a perfect day at Oleander Park. Thanks for allowing me to share the day with you. I had a fantastic time meeting your families and friends, hanging out and having strange/humorous conversations with Bentley, and, naturally, spinning tunes. I neglected to snap any pictures, but please post some here If you have a willingness to share. Unsolicited marriage advice? Why not? Keep on rockin' in the free world! (From Jim Ross, except the last sentence, which comes courtesy of Neil Young)
Thank you to DJ Chris Sims who DJed this evening at the Monroe County ISD Prom for the Transition and Educational Centers. I (Jim Ross) djed this event last year and had a great time, smiling a high percentage of the time. The students behaved as kindly as one could imagine and principal Bill Hite made me feel very welcome and appreciated. Plus, Mr. Hite and his staff plan an excellent prom, making the night special for those who attend. I'd love for a few pictures from last ...year or this year's prom to appear on here through Facebook and technology magic. Mr. Hite: thanks for allowing MR. MUSiC to play a part in your proms and for all the hard work you and your staff do at the Monroe ISD for my son Jimmy and all of the students there. Chris: thanks again for working this one. You're an awesome DJ and a close and cool friend--much cooler than me.
Thanks to the fiances and fiancees that spoke with us at the Sylvania bridal show. DJ's Chris Sims, Collin Pahle and me, the CEO of MR. MUSiC, Jim Ross, all of had fun meeting potential clients and future brides and grooms. We look forward to keeping those parties rockin', memorable, fun and organized.
Our company has decided to blow the dust off flyers and promotional materials for a bridal show expo this Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 1-5 at Tam-O-Shanter in Sylvania, Ohio. DJ's Collin Pahle and Chris Sims will help host, along with me, the CEO, Jim Ross.Come and visit if you're in the market for a wedding DJ or pass the word along if you know someone who is.
To that end, here is a link of the show at which we will have a table and display: http://weddingmadnessexpo.com/
I say "dust off" because we haven't done a bridal show for quite some time. Wish us luck! While I'm there, if there's a break in the action, I look forward to trying on wedding dresses. In the past, they've never had sizes that fit me--always devastating.
I (Jim Ross, CEO) had a great time donating DJ services to Whiteford Wesleyan church this past Sunday for their Fall Festival. Thanks for having us out; I enjoyed playing Christian music and watching all the children and families have a blast. The rain held off until we finished, and the planners of this event do a kick-awesome fantastic job for this community event!
Scheduling for the 2016 & 2017 Wedding season is in full swing. Contact us for availability and appointments. We look forward to personalizing a package that is perfect for you and your wedding day!
CEO Jim Ross writing ... to give a SHOUT OUT! to DJ Emilie. Despite her last name, Emile Breuer makes no beer, but has been a DJ with MR. MUSiC DJ SERViCE for more than 16 years. Thanks for taking care of our many clients and for loyally working with us for all this time. She's honest, kind, works hard and has become a great and trusted friend (yes, she's also a super-talented DJ, but that goes without saying I think because why give a "SHOUT OUT!" if that weren't true--I mea...n, think about it). She has created her own DJ service (Preferred DJ) that may subcontract MR. MUSiC if she gets double- booked. Additionally, she has a new website that I'll cross-promote ... NOW: http://preferreddj.com/about-us/ . Emilie, we'll have to figure out our "started-working-together anniversary" date and then immediately come up with a better title for it. Is MR. MUSiC better than PREFERRED DJ? We're like siblings so we must create a rivalry. MR. MUSiC is unequivocally superior based solely on the fact that it's easier to spell. I rest my case. Seacrest out. Stay classy, not-San Diego.
Anybody getting married looking for a slow, romantic song, this is the answer! As DJ's, we always look for the most romantic songs we can find for slow dances...both with a slow-swaying beat, and gripping, tear-jerking LYRICS. Thank you, Tom T. Hall, for your profound song "I Love," which I believe explains love so eloquently even Shakespeare or Auden wish they had your talent: https://www.youtube.com/watch…
This past weekend (May 2, 2015), I had the privilege of working with Josh Nagel from Josh Nagel Productions. If you know someone looking for an affordable, professional, friendly videographer, I would highly recommend giving Josh serious consideration. In my 20 years of DJing wedding receptions and sometimes providing music/sound for the wedding ceremony, I've never worked with somebody friendlier and with a more definite artistic vision. My client (the bride and groom) liked working with him too and have "liked" his business Facebook page. Going forward, I will recommend him to all of my brides- and grooms-to-be: https://www.facebook.com/nagelsthename?fref=ts
