Back when I started my website in 1997, I made a promise to myself and my fans that I would keep it ad-free, not just because ads are annoying, but because ads cause self-censorship. Now YouTube has made it clear that any content that isn't ad-friendly won't be monetized. This will cause creators to censor themselves to make money. That's why my credo has been sacred and I've kept my website completely free of advertisements as my one uninhibited outlet for creative expression for over 19 years. I've sacrificed tens of thousands of dollars to uphold this promise. And I'm still ad-free after almost 2 decades; you can test it yourself by disabling Adblock Plus. You're welcome. http://maddox.xmission.com
