Here's "The Penguin Song" from Union Market last week with Kweku Owusu (Drumming Up From Poverty) and Max Bent (Maxmakesmusic)! Today (Monday) I play solo at Busboys & Poets in Hyattsville 9:30-11:00am, but you can catch the three of us again at the end of July!
One of my little fans was rocking out (with her doll, even) to 'Nobody Likes Viruses and Germs' at the Takoma Park library last month! I join librarian Karen again this Tuesday, Jan. 7th at 10:00 and 11:00 am, and in general on the first Tuesday of the month. All for the low, low price of FREE! (Fingers crossed this video works...)
Thanks to all the wonderful people who came out to Chevy Chase Village Hall this morning! We had a great time singing & dancing with you, raised a bit of money to support the The Children's Music Network -- and we even caught a few of the kids' awesome ninja dance moves during 'Ninja School'!

CD Baby tells me they have too many of my Gravity Vacation CD in their warehouse & have graciously offered to recycle them for me or to let me pay to send them back! Nice, right? I do get it. Most people listen online these days, and physical CD sales have slowed a lot.
But, my Gravity Vacation CD happens to be great end-of-the-year teacher gift! (Fun, educational science content and all.)
People also tell me they love listening in the car & on road trips since it's somethin...g the whole family enjoys listening to. So, if you want a special gift for a teacher you know, and/or you still listen to CDs in the car & want to be prepared for your summer road trips, lightbulb: you could pick up my CD!! I only need to sell 36 copies to beat the recycling bin. Can we do it? (If you like the CD, you could also help by sharing and saying a few words about what you like. ❤️)

A huge thank you to Kathy O’Connell and Robert Drake for putting on another amazing Kindiecomm conference where kindie artists from all over the US, Canada, and even overseas got together to meet up, discuss topics in our space, and sing & play!! It was an incredible weekend and I’ll have more photos and stories to share with you. Meanwhile, I was delighted & honored to learn that Kathy & Robert played “Why Can’t You Dance On Jupiter?” on Kids Corner on WXPN yesterday!! Yay! #kindiecomm
