We got an outcome we were not hoping for, but because we respect the democratic process we must accept it and we will move on. No doubt, however, that we did manage to shatter the expectations of many people. On election night I called Mark Curran for U.S. Senate to congratulate him on becoming our nominee and I look forward to knocking doors in my precinct and mak...ing calls on his behalf in the near future. This outcome should not stop any of one of my or my competitor's supporters from continuing our work that we began to improve our state. We must continue to contribute to our party and talk to folks on why the Republican principles will help our state from despair- this will be the only way we can win.
