when new content is released they... offer to sell a promise of up to 135 character shards for $30.00 cad but you only receave a fraction and mostly junk.
they continually interrupt your game play with "special limited" offers always looking for you to buy new characters for $27 and up and for a lvl 1 characters which take days weeks even months to level as the dribs and drabs of XP nessary for leveling to the over power status nessary to beat any level so as to not have a single team member lost just to unlock its replay.
you will inevitably spend Hundreds of dollars for little to no return and you will still ALWAYS encounter content you cannot participate in simply because you can't own the correct characters because they are not unlockable unless you Pay for them like colossus and Pheonix both pay wall and both nessary to play for chances to unlock magneto...
thats about $75.00 to unlock those two.
this isn't a game its gambling.
and relies on fandom and addiction.
