Tune in tomorrow morning ( Feb. 8 )around 8:30 am when we will be “Live” at the Research Orchard with Research Associate, Tamara Wynne and the Master Gardeners. They will be planting bare root fruit trees and answering your questions Live! If you can’t join us Live, ask your questions in the comments below and we will try to answer them! Provident Community Garden - Spring Planting Class February 10th at 3pm
Join Master Gardeners at the Provident Community Garden to learn about planting cool season gardens. We'll be talking about amending the garden, selecting and planting seeds and transplants, and caring for the garden through harvest. Gardeners will be able to plant a few of our beds. The garden is located near Charleston and Jones at 6001 W Oakey Blvd, behind the Mountain View church.
We will try and check in "live" at 2:05pm for a quick look at the beginning of our Event: Monarchs and Milkweeds! It took us only two weeks to fill all 150 seats! Like our page to get notifications when we are Live!
We will be streaming live about 11 am with Dr Angela O’Callaghan (Horticulture State specialist for the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension) as she teaches the hands on portion of her pruning ( trees and shrubs) work shop.
