It makes me sad to see what happened to this school. I attended in the early 90's and it was a hotbed of talent and creativity, and did wonders to help my musical career. My thoughts go out to those who attended and didn't get what the hoped out of it, but just remember that your future is still in your hands.

Three years ago I spoke with Harry Chalmiers on the state of the school. I was concerned about why they bought 12 $1500 leather couches and updated all of the Macs when they couldn’t provide basic resources for business students. I pointed out how the retention rate then was under 50% because of where the financial value was being put. I met with him a second time after the school updated all of the production equipment and was trying to sell the old stuff. I asked, if that m...oney could have been better spent on expanding the library. Hell, even better sound proofing throughout the building would have been a step up. Harry thought these were all great ideas, but nothing was ever implemented. They did end up selling/returning half of those couches tho.. but where did the money go? For a school with such great teachers, it never presented like a school in the things it provided the students, beyond lectures. I sincerely hope that the higher ups (Jack McNally) will take all the PROFITS they made, and give back to those who will be screwed over because of the lack of fiscal responsibility they felt they needed to uphold.

Had a blast meeting so many talented and driven individuals. Hugely disappointed by how poorly the closing of the school was handled and how the staff and students were left to pick up the debris. Keep jamming everyone.

I was 3 credits away from graduating and they decided to just close with absolutely no notice. I've always had issues with different departments not communicating properly but this is just ridiculous. I highly doubt I will be able to transfer all of these credits to take a single class that was only offered at this school. I'm going to be forced to start almost from scratch.
