Mud puddling is a phenomenon where insects, thirsty for salts and amino acids, suck fluids out of rotting corpses, wet soil, and dung. If a butterfly has ever landed on you, it was probably attracted to your blood, sweat, or tears.
A NASA satellite spots a HUGE Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the Sun. This is a REAL image made from combined wavelengths. The CME was not aimed directly at Earth, but did cause auroral activity on September 3rd, 2012.

Image from European Southern Obervatory looks really cool, showing a dark void in the middle of all the stars. Even cooler is that it’s really a cloud filled up with gas and dust, and such regions are the birthplaces of future stars!
