Roasted then grounded cumin seed which will be mixed with a bit of honey are a great way to kindle the digestive fire - Agni. Cumin seed have all 6 tastes. They are sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent and as such are a great way to start each meal. We sometimes finish a meal and still feel dissatisfied. This is usually as one of the tastes or more was missing from our meal. By using cumin seeds not only you will feel more satisfied you will also be able to digest your food well. Feel free to contact me to find out more about this ancient and still very relent wisdom.

Meni Farkash is with Joanne Gardner and 2 others.

So looking forward to be back to Stretchy Suzie's on April 28th where I will be running a 3 hour yoga workshop.
This workshop will focus on the core. The worksh...op will emphasize the importance of a strong and fluid core and will teach ways to connect, energize, strengthen and most importantly USE the core in our yoga practice both on and off the mat.
The workshop will look at the core from different perspectives and will combine physical and energetic work.

You can book this workshop directly through me or the studio. Although energetic and challenging the workshop is open to different levels.

Introducing Triphala. Triphala is the Ayurvedic panacea. You can use it to wash your hair or body, or as a laxative, purgative, or emetic. It's decoction ...can be used as eye, nose or ear drops, or for gargling. It scrapes Ama- toxins from the body tissues and increases Agni- digestive power. It is safe to use for adults, children and the elderly in the correct dosage and as such it is widely used by Ayurvedic practitioners.
