A beautiful place where the Glory Of God is felt every Sunday. Middle is bold, unique, diverse and inclusive. It was amazing to sing in the Gospel Choir this morning (which Pastor Jacqui Says “Looks a reflection of both the United Nations and Jesus’ unashamed Love for all his children...”) have my Mom Be In the audience, along with three of my Best Friends.. and see the Congregation stand on its feet in Praise by the end of the Worship Celebration. Middle is truly a special reflection of God’s Kingdom here on Earth! See More

Truly, I’ve never felt more at home in a place that does not forget that politics is never divorced of God, and reminds us that people and planet must be first—because we are all divinely loved and pu...rposed people.

My faith is deeper because of Middle.

This year’s #RevLove18 conference was truly remarkable and I simply cannot wait until next year!

This morning I came to church here for the first time. Walking down 2nd Avenue I heard the bell ring, calling people to come worship, and I felt so light on my feet. I loved the service. Ever since I ...met Reverend Lewis at Bev McClain's memorial service, I have wanted to attend even though I don't live in New York City. I promised myself that if I ever were to wake up in NYC on a Sunday morning, I would come to Middle Collegiate for a service, and I've been coasting on it all day long. So happy. See More

I knew from attending my first service, not that long ago, that this was nothing like the church I grew up with! I find God in the great out doors but for the first time, being inside with a congregat...ion of loving, good hearted people and the most inspiring minister, Jacqui Lewis, I know I will continue to be part of this wonderful church. Middle Church is my spiritual home. I found Middle as I was looking for a church to attend with a new baby, and my now almost 20 year old "baby" has grown up into a young man with God in his heart, an...d love for the village that watched him grow. After almost 20 years, I still love being there. Jacqui is a phenominal Minister and an amazing person. Her sermons make me think, and touch my soul. As a member of the Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir, I have been able to give back to Middle through singing, but could not imaging doing so without the loving and creative guidance of John del Cueto, choir director extraordinaire!
Middle is SO welcoming and loving to those of us who might not be welcome in other congregations. Hugging folks as we Pass the Peace, and seeing all colors, sizes, shapes and genders of the human rainbow is such a wonderful experience! On this New Year's dayI look forward to spending many more years as a member of Middle Collegiate Church

Came to see what this church was about...and within a month, I joined both the church and the gospel choir! No one is more surprised than I, a non-religious Jewish girl from Brooklyn, to be a new of a church! This is a happy, loving community! You rock, Middle Church! See More

Middle Church is so proud to host Gabriel García Román Art's Divinity: Queer Icons. The Mexican-Amaricón artist manipulates classical divine imagery, applying the style to underrepresented and marginalized groups.

Original artwork is on display in the Social Hall and the Sanctuary, viewable during office hours and Sundays. A reception will be held on Sunday, April 29 at 1:30 PM. Curated by Middle member Linda Badami and Minister Rob Stephens.
