Senate Bill 1456 would prevent predators with a history of child sex abuse from gaming the system and jumping from job to job. Parents should have peace of mind that their children are safe no matter where they go to school.

Did you know that over a third of our nation’s vegetables and two-thirds of fruits are grown in California? Thanks to our state’s farmers for feeding America – and for bringing Agriculture Day to the Capitol!

The price tag for high-speed rail keeps going up – more than twice what was promised to voters. It’s past time for Governor Brown to end this project and use our money on California’s roads and highways. goo.gl/PY9j57
Honored to recognize San Bernardino's Shelley Burnach at the State Capitol this week. Thank you for your service to our community!

Billy Graham counseled generations of leaders and inspired countless people around the world, carrying himself with dignity and resolute confidence in his beliefs. Graham’s prayers and presence as “America’s Pastor” will be deeply missed.

Governor Brown “promised” that sex offenders wouldn’t go free under his Proposition 57…he deceived the public and has placed our families and loved ones in harm’s way.
Today is Ronald Reagan Day in California, commemorating what would have been the 40th president's 107th birthday.

If you haven't watched the full address (or it's been awhile) you can see it at this link.
For four years, the majority party attempted to quietly sideline this law, repeatedly killing efforts to pass it by not allowing a vote. I appreciate Assemblywoman Melendez's persistence in pushing AB 403 through the legislature and am proud to be a coauthor.
It's always a pleasure to welcome constituents to the State Capitol. Glad to have a visit this week from Dean Madison, a realtor from Rancho Cucamonga!
