Congratulations to our London Capital Markets associate Alastair Gillespie, who was awarded the Senate 150th Anniversary Medal by the Senate of Canada in recognition of his in-depth historical studies on the founding of Canada and its constitution published during the country’s 150th anniversary celebration this year. The studies were published in association with the independent, non-partisan policy think tank Macdonald-Laurier Institute, where he is Munk Senior Fellow in the Canadian Political Tradition.

We're pleased to have worked on an amicus brief for a significant domestic violence appeal brought by the Family Violence Appellate Project in California. Says Los Angeles-based Milbank associate Ashlee Lin, "It was such a wonderful opportunity to be a part of securing this important decision for domestic violence survivors in California.
