Louie Minor files to run for Bell County Commissioner
Killeen – On Saturday, November 18, 2017, Louie Minor announced his campaign to be the next Bell County Commissioner in Precinct 4 at the Bell County Democratic Women’s Meeting.
Louie Minor is an Iraq War Veteran, a Captain in the IRR, and a native of Central Texas. Louie is a third generation Latino, with a strong record of public service. When asked why he wants to run for the Commissioner’s Court, Louie said, “I am tir...ed of a reactive approach to county government. I want to be proactive to the needs of our county residence from everything to property taxes, jobs and quality of life. Bell County will be the best county to live, work and play in the entire state”
Born and raised in Belton, Texas, Louie is the first generation in his family to attend college, and holds a Master of Public Administration from Norwich University in Vermont. Louie is the owner of a growing small business which takes pride in hiring veterans.
