Grammy winner Charles Neville came by the studio to play some smokin' saxophone on the new album.
Needless to say it was a memorable recording session with a legendary icon of American music. And just wait til you hear his amazing tracks on "The Bossy E."
It was quite an honor to chat with Eric Carle...and he gave me one his classics, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." Fortunately I wasn't empty-handed, so I passed along an advance copy of my new CD, "The Bossy E."
Thanks to Zooglobble for sharing this in-studio video of our new song "Everything's Free at the Library." It features my Senegalese superstar friend, Massamba Diop on talking drum. Check it out!
We're kicking off summer with two big shows this Saturday (1:00 & 3:00 PM) at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. Last year's concerts sold-out, so come early or get your tix in advance.
And...Mister Eric Carle himself will be at the museum, so it's shaping up to be a memorable day.
Hello California! We're excited to be back on the West Coast performing at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco tomorrow at 11:00 am. Looking forward to seeing all our Bay Area friends.
