Is your Teen ready to learn? You need to visit the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency at 3400 Demetropolis Road to get a Learner's Permit. Bring their birth certificate, social security card, proof of school enrollment, $5 testing fee, and $37.50 for license fee. (Note: checks are not accepted)

The Mobile County Health Department provides low cost rabies shots for dogs, cats and ferrets during weekend clinics. Saturday 2/10 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., a clinic is set for Pet Supplies Plus at 803 Hillcrest Road. The cost of $8 is payable in cash.

Baker High School is one of three Mobile County Public Schools that were recognized as 2017 CLAS Schools of Distinction. The award, presented by the Council for... Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) since 2011, recognizes schools and programs that serve as outstanding educational models for other schools in Alabama.
