It's easy to get caught up on the less important things in life and lose focus on what matters most. To live a happier life we need to work on our perspective a...nd priorities. When I was younger I heard a beautiful parable on the topic of prioritizing the things that truly matter and decided to bring the message through the medium of video. I hope this inspires you and like the Professor says " we can truly accomplish anything if we use out time wisely." Focus on what truly matters and life will have a way to be that much brighter and fulfilling.

We stopped in on the weekend as travelling to New Plymouth. It is always a place our family stop as my mothers family(Mick and Gert Fleming)owned it in the late... 40's/ early 50's. this is a photo of my mother sitting with her father in the cafe when they owned it. We have heard so many stories of the cafe over the years.
T V 1 was down on Tuesday to film the proposed new road over MT Messenger . They interviewed several people over their choices and ideas and I believe that it will be on the news this Saturday.
We have a new hard drive in our computer and have not transferred the old one across. On the 21 and 23 Feb there will be old vintage motorcycles in Mokau from about 10.30 am . Over the 2 days there will be about 70 bikes in all and will be able to be seen by the mine so come and have a look.
I am still alive and kicking so I will express some thoughts, A few days ago a lady saw a man fall over a railing and called out her husband ran immediately to help and gave C P R then others arrived and helped including a young lady and said that she was a trainee doctor , Other folk also helped 111 was called and the local fire siren went of so we new help was on the way. Within 10 minutes or so the fire abrade and ambulance arrived ( very efficient ) In the mean time at ...lest 3 people took over traffic control as the traffic was heavy at the time. Later the police arrived . I believe that the first res ponders did a great job who ever they were but were not in any way acknowledged for their efforts. Every first aid course that I have attended stress the importance of immediate C P R for at least 15 minutes . I am sure that these people do not want to be named but their efforts to help should be acknowledged to support our first aid training that is now in place
