Ngā mihi nunui ki a koutou katoa i tautoko mai i tō tātou wānanga uhi. Thank you to everyone who was able to support our wānanga - reviving the use and style of... uhi for ngā kaitāmoko in Ōtautahi at Rehua Marae. It was wonderful to see our kairaranga, kaitāmoko and kaiwaituhi working creatively together. "Ki te kotahi te kākaho ka whati, ki te kāpuia e kore e whati". When reeds stand alone they are vulnerable, but together they are unbreakable. Thank you also to our funders Creative Communities - Ōtautahi, Rehua Kākahu Project, Toi Māori - Te Ātinga, Creative NZ. Nei rā te mihi maioha ki a koutou katoa. Mauri Uhi, Mauri Ora!
