Why do people that are earning big money such as in the WH want to get rid of health care for children? We need to put common people to serve the Americans since they all know what it's like not to h...ave health insurance and this is a pity to want this scrapped! See More

Do not vote yes to this tax billl. It stinks! It is for the rich, not the working family. A lot of programs will suffer at the hands of the rich. Why would that concern then, they will get more money ...in their pocket to spend or put away for their retirement. I will not be happy about it!! See More

Thank you Food & Water Watch for keeping families informed!

Could a loophole in organic standards and food safety regulations mean that parents looking to feed their kids healthy food might end up giving them produce grown with wastewater from oil production?

Asian Americans women make 87 cents for every dollar that a white man earns, but we know
there is more to the story. Over her career, the typical Asian American woman loses at least $292,400 to the wage gap; in some states, the situation is much worse. Today, on Asian American Equal Pay Day, we are lifting up Burmese, Laotian, Hmong, and Samoan American women who experience some of the widest pay gaps across all other races and ethnicities. #NotYourModelMinority #AAPIEqualPay #DisaggregateData

Since 1999, 150,000 students in the United States have experienced a shooting. They live in an unchecked gun culture, where ownership of military style assault weapons is put ahead of their lives. They're calling BS! And we are too.

Here's how and why we need to let them lead: http://moms.ly/2EGPqHl via The Guardian

YOUNG PEOPLE LEAD the fight for gun safety! MomsRising's executive director, Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, writes in The Guardian how and why to back them up, quoting her teen daughter, Anna: "My daughter told me: “You can’t prevent a tsunami, or an earthquake, a hurricane, or other natural disasters. But you can prevent mass shootings. This is a human problem. We can fix it.” The students aren’t just talking about solutions, they’re organizing, stepping forward, and demanding accountability of our elected leaders." Yes they are, in a BIG way! http://moms.ly/2CBW3ZC

We've been calling for banning bump stocks since the Las Vegas shooting. But we said it then, and we're saying it now: Banning bump stocks is not enough! Sign on if you agree. #gunsafety

Our hearts are broken. Our elected leaders have to stop wasting time. In addition to banning bump stocks, Congress must also move forward gun safety policies like limiting military-style assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
