Happy GIS day! As we celebrate Geographic Information Systems today, take a look at all the things that GIS can help create.

Veteran's Day is November 11. The MMP has a large collection of military records available for searching that can provide information about service members. Maybe you have a relative who served in World War I [mtmemory.org] or World War II [mtmemory.org]? Search by last name to find out more information. There are even enlistment cards [mtmemory.org] from before then - maybe you're related to someone who fought in the Spanish-American War?
