Newest Car Recipient. Morro Bay Lions Foundation in collaboration with Todd's Garage and the Morro Bay Community Resource Connection have donated a car to a local woman in need.. she was selected not only because of need, but also because she generously gives time to help other less fortunate individuals. 1st Monday of the month dinner.
Morro Bay Lions Club along with other community groups and volunteers serves meals to the less fortunate. The Lions Club does the activity the 1st Monday of each month. These pictures are from the January 1st dinner. The community project is entering its 5th year. The Lions have been involved for 4 years.
Lions Barry Trosper and Don Fisher helping carve 36 turkeys in preparation for the Morro Bay Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The event is hosted by local service and community groups and businesses in Morro Bay. It is open to all residence of Morro Bay. There is no charge. The Morro Bay Lions Club has been involved the past 4 years. The event is divided into 2 teams, the dining room crew and the cooking crew. The Lions Club is part of the cooking crew. About 500 dinners were served this year: sit down, delivery and take out. The volunteers from the police department did the deliveries. An awesome job done by everyone involved in this project!

Downtown Morro Bay Halloween Walk.
500 trick or treat bags gone. 20 bottles of bubbles gone. Back up bags of pretzels and rice krispie treats gone. 2.5 hrs of children, parents and their pets walking the streets of downtown Morro Bay. Great afternoon!!
Thursday October 12th meeting with the Morro Bay Lions Club. Additional guests included an Owl and Possum from Pacific Wildlife Care.
Pacific Wildlife Care has been serving communities of SLO since 1986 in reaction to the APEX Houston Oil Spill. The Morro Bay Facility opened in 2007. The Rehabilitation Center in Morro Bay is refuge to orphaned, sick and injured wildlife. It is a 501c3 Foundation.
Morro Bay Lions Club collects used eye glasses. Drop off locations. Mike's Downtown Barber Shop, corner Main and Morro Bay Blvd. Morro Bay Active Senior Center. An additional location is scheduled for October 31st at the Morro Bay Downtown Halloween Walk. The Morro Bay Lions Club will be passing out candy at their table near Mike's Barber Shop. We will have a collection box there during the event.
