Hear today's Inside MusiCast Radio 'Album Spin' today at Noon and again at 6:00 PM (EST)!
Today’s ‘Album Spin’ was selected by IMC’s Arnaud Leger and he chose “...Go On”, by Mr. Mister which was released in 1987. This was the third studio album by Mr. Mister and it was released two years after their breakthrough album “Welcome To The Real World.” While “Go On” didn’t achieve success in regards to album sales or hits, the album was a favorite among the band’s more serious fans who considered this effort to be a step in a more mature musical direction and spawned a more meaningful lyrical approach, as opposed to going to a more pop-oriented approach for the sake of producing hits. With Richard Page on vocals, Steve George on keys, sax and vocals, Pat Mastelotto on drums and Steve Faris on guitars, the album also featured several guests, such as Bill and Tamara Champlin on backing vocals, Lenny Castro and Alex Acuña on percussion, and Phil Perry on backing vocals.

Something a little different from the International Festival of Song 1988 in Vina del Mar, Chile, now. A rare live performance of Man of a Thousand Dances, from the album Go On.
Another song from Vina del Mar, Chile, thirty years ago. Enjoy this extended version of Is It Love from the second show.
More music from Mr. Mister's shows at the International Festival of Song in Chile thirty years ago. This is their cover of the Stevie Wonder song "Higher Ground", with Richard Page and Steve George sharing lead vocals.
We're celebrating 30 years since Mr. Mister performed two shows at the International Festival of Song in Vina del Mar, Chile, this week. During the first show, Richard made a statement in support of threatened Chilean actors, and the regime at the time were not happy about it. He talks about what happened in this interview http://bit.ly/2sDgc1L.
You can see the actual statement here http://bit.ly/2HuevHb (in Spanish).
Thirty years ago today, Mr. Mister played the first of two shows at the International Festival of Song in Vina del Mar, Chile. Their time there wasn't uneventful (more about that later), but they wowed the audience, as you can see in this video of Broken Wings from the first show.
Pat has announced a new tour with Stick Men (Official) in Europe in March! Check out the dates here:

A message from Richard Page for 2018. Happy New Year!
Recently, I was going through some old Mr Mister performances and found this one. We always loved playing Higher Ground and I believe this is how we closed the 2nd night in Santiago, Chile back in 1988. Hope everyone has a great 2018 and please let’s all try to all we can to reach the Higher Ground. We need to NOW!
We're back! The King Crimson Radical Action 2017 tour goes back into action this week. Here's my 1st road diary, from the rehearsals in Austin:
