Wilder Ranch Holiday Celebration

Saturday, December 9 from 11am to 3pm

Step back in time for an old-fashioned holiday celebration at Wilder Ranch State Park. Hands-on activities and presentations include candle and wreath making, cookie decorating, machine shop and blacksmith demonstrations, tours of the 1859 Gothic Revival farmhouse and 1897 Victorian home, and strolling Victorian carolers. Hot-spiced cider and Mexican hot chocolate, as well as baked goods are available for purchase. Visitors are encouraged to dress in turn of the century costumes. Event is free; vehicle day-use fee is $10. For more information, please call (831) 426-0505. Event made possible by Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks and California State Parks.

The Santa Cruz High School Boys Basketball program hosts the 62nd Annual Emmett Thompson Memorial Dad’s Club Basketball Tournament at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium on December 7th-9th. Basketball fans of all ages will enjoy seeing 8 local high school varsity teams compete over 3 days, with 4 games each round. This historic tournament, now in its 62nd year, kicks off the local boys high school basketball season.

Proceeds benefit the Santa Cruz High School Boys... Basketball program. Come out and cheer on your favorite team!

Tickets sold at the door:
$8 General Admission
$5 Students & Seniors (60 & over)
$2 Kids (ages 5-10)
