WELCOME & GUIDELINES ...
Welcome all haiku friends,
My Haiku Pond is a peaceful community dedicated to the appreciation and study of English language haiku, haiku related forms and -Art....
At My Haiku Pond we focus mainly on contemporary haiku in the English language, but also honor the classic Masters' works.
This includes haiga, haibun, tanka, kukai, nature, zen, Japanese as well as Buddhist Arts & Culture, etc. Its main focus however, is the promotion, sharing and study of English language haiku.
The My Haiku Pond team will make every effort to post regular updates, preferably daily. So be sure to make MHP a daily stop!
Let me say it clearly: 'At MHP you are encouraged to share and contribute!' There are too many wonderful haiku out there and being written. We do ask you to observe the following guidelines... To achieve more variety, we ask for no more than one post a day per visitor, and prefer a maximum of 3 haiku or 1 tanka, haiga, photo-haiku or haibun per post.
We are always looking for news items. If you have (found) something, which is in any way haiku related, please send it to us, so we can post it on the Timeline!
If there is anything you'd like to share on the main timeline of My Haiku Pond, please send it to us via Facebook Message for our approval. Please send the post itself (text/images/video), or send us a URL-link to the item you'd like to post.
Please know that regular posts will appear in the VISITORS POSTS section, below the ABOUT section. This is usually located to the left of the My Haiku Pond Timeline. TIP: If you'd like to have more control on how your posts appear in the VISITORS POSTS section, just create a screen-capture or image containing the information (pictures and text) and post this image...
Enjoy sharing on My Haiku Pond, but please always share in good taste and in the best quality possible.
