Made a trip to Gatlinburg today. My boyfriend and I went through here. At first we thought it was more of a museum but as we paid and talked to the guy out front (who was hilarious )we realized it a traditional jump -out-at-you haunted house. I almost lost my nerve and turned back. But it was so scary and tons of fun. So there were only two people working the entire thing. But it was just him and I and that was plenty of scare of us. My favorite parts were when the clown conspired with my boyfriend to leave me alone in a room so that when I turned around he was gone and I was left with said freaky clown. And toward the end we were trying to get out a door and Mr Clown was back, being all creepy .... told us to go through the door and I said 'it's locked!!!' And he comes around in his still freaky voice but in a casual manner and says 'give me a minute !' Hahaha. Hilarious!! We had a great time ! See More

This place is a MUST visit for anyone who likes haunted houses/ horror movies/ Halloween.
Seriously one of my all time favorite haunted attractions ever and I've been to a lot of them!
You can tell ev...eryone involved loves what they do. From the person at the front desk to the actors inside. They know every inch of the space and use it all to scare and creep you out!

Seriously, if you are in the area, you need to go. And even if you've visited before, I guarantee you'll see things you didn't it they've added since your last visit.

We're already planning an October visit!

This is the best haunted house I have ever been to. We travel all over to experience different haunts and this one beats them all. I loved the maze of twists and turns and having to find secret doors ...and passages to get from place to place. The actors we're all top notch . See More

I think this has a lot of potential but it fell short to me. There were only two people dressed up in the mansion for scares. I liked that there were trick doors, but going through with a group of 8 disappointing. We were in the back and therefore didn't get to explore anything, just had to follow. This could have been way better. $30 for two of us to go through in 10 minutes was just a waste. See More

My wife & myself own a known haunted Victorian home. The Mysterious Manner is our home away from home. We celebrated our honeymoon there & every anniversary. Never let down by the hard working cast & ...restless souls. We are so thankful this fun & amazing home away from home still stands. From all the seen & unseen living in our home the “Gravenstien House” we thank you for being awesome. See More

Went 10/28/17 was more than expected. My husband enjoyed it & was okay, my daughter (almost 13) and myself almost peed ourselves a few times lol. Definitely worth the trip. Not sure how small children... would take to it considering it scared us but fun no doubt. Not sure if it was more scary being Halloween time or if it’s that way all the time but it was a really fun experience! See More

We went during the off season so there were only 3 of us who went through and two actors working. We really thought the third person who came in behind us was a plant... But he wasn't! The setup of th...e house is really well done and considering there were only two actors, they did a great job and made it fun! I would definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of haunted houses! See More

This walkthrough haunted house is a favorite of the Dark Attraction And Funhouse Enthusiasts. We just had a great time with our unofficial gathering at the Mansion last weekend. Lots of creepy atmos...phere to absorb while you find your way out of this unique haunt- while encountering talented actors who silently "encourage" you along with their scary presence. Highly recommended. See More

I jumped, my boyfriend jumped, I even screamed once! We really enjoyed it! See More

This place is a second home to me, many years spent here. The house itself is a marvel that only a certain few can truly appreciate. The artistic director has made the house everything it was ever sup...posed to be. Best haunted house in Tennessee hands down. A must for anyone coming to Gatlinburg See More

If you are in Gatlinburg and want to be scared of more than just the traffic (ha, ha) visit the Mysterious Mansion. The actors are dead on (I did it again!) and are incredibly skilled at their jobs. ... Overall, a delightful and frightful surprise of an attraction!!! See More

The 2 workers do a fantastic job!!!!!! We had 2 guys and 2 girls in our group and there was something that scared everyone. Whether it was an actor or prop, everyone shrieked at one point. Great job!!!!!!

This place was awesome and gave us a good scare. Staff was great. I was really impressed on how realistic the smell was in the bathroom area inside the mansion. Definitely gonna go back. Is the inter...ior remodeled each year or is it the same? See More

Surpassed my expectations!! It was great..the house itself makes it feel creepy from the get go.. the price was worth it given that we walked out scared and with our hearts racing.. there are not a lo...t of people jumping out at you but when they do they get you good.. it's off the main drag but the setting adds to the scare factor.. This was a really cool place to visit. The attention to detail was scary good. The bathroom was so creepy it even had a weird smell that made it creepier. Awesome place.
