NAACP Members and Friends, Join the NAACP, ADAMS, Loudoun Freedom Ce...nter, Loudoun’s interfaith community, Virginia elected officials and more, for a courageous conversation on racial reconciliation, a path forward and prayer with Attorney General Mark Herring. Attorney General Mark Herring will discuss concrete actions for countering systemic racism and inequities that still exist in education, criminal justice, economic development, historic preservation, and public policy. This event is the second in a three-part #HealingVA series with Virginia’s Attorney General. This kid friendly program is free and open to the public! The road to healing and rebuilding Virginia will not be easy. The journey to equality and justice is long, rocky and filled with twists and turns! Since February, Virginians have not found a clear path forward and are still grappling with how to proceed in a racially charged climate with no precedent and no one leading the way out of one of Virginia’s most disastrous times of leadership in recent history. Under the leadership of Pastor Michelle C. Thomas and Bro Rizwan Jaka, the NAACP Loudoun Branch along with the Interfaith Community endeavors to move Virginia forward, addressing the Inequity concerns of the African American Community and people of color throughout Virginia. Going Forward Together, Pastor Michelle C. Thomas President, NAACP Loudoun Branch See More
