Only 24 hours to Relay for Life at NAU!! So far we have raised $40,659 for the American Cancer Society! Why do you relay? "I discovered Relay for Life three years ago when it was hosted by my high school. At the time, I had never heard of relay. I have since committed to it because it inspires me everyday. I relay for my grandmother. She died at the age of 46 from stage four lung cancer, 13 years before I was born. She had always been a part of my life and always will be, eve...n though I never met her. She had inspired my career and my life. I also relay for my fathers best friend, Randy, who passed from melanoma. He was a huge part of my childhood and we miss him everyday. Finally, I relay for the survivors. I relay for the stories and the families that were saved by the American Cancer Society." -Abby Smith, NAU Relay Marketing and Social Media Director. Please share your stories by emailing them to mission@naurelay.com. We can't wait to see you all tomorrow!💜💜

2 Days to Relay!! Why do you Relay? “I relay for Abbey. She was one of my best friends and at 13 was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor. She fought her little heart out for 4 long years. She was one of the strongest people I know. Unfortunately her fight came to an end in June of 2016, but joining relay this year has shown me the incredible things this organization can do and what it has done for so many others.” - Jesyca Granado, 2017 Mission Director
