Mark Medoff was with Rod McCall and 39 others.

Dick Rundell, one of the brightest lights in our galaxy, husband and father, friend and mentor, extraordinary collaborator, and so much more, passed away at 4:3...0 this afternoon. A celebration of Dick's life will be announced in the next day or two. Jeanne knows that our community has her and Alecks and Tristen held tightly in our loving embrace.

From Maggie Feil:
Hello Hillel! I want to reach out to you all as the Temple Beth-El youth (middle and high school) group advisor. As I'm sure you know, BETY (Beth-El Temple Youth) hosts an annual Purim Carnival for the congregation, & I, personally would love to see more young (~under the age of 50) people attend! The carnival starts at 5:00 PM and the schpiel goes on at 6:30. If any Hillel members decide to attend, I'd love to meet you all. Either way, I hope that perhaps we can develop a bit more overlap amongst the Jewish "youth" of Las Cruces. Happy Purim, Chaverim!

The co-presidents from this past school year both graduated so we will not be able to recharter the group this fall. If you are a current NMSU student and interested in rechartering, please comment here or send a message to this page. For now, this page will provide updates on events in the Las Cruces Jewish community that are open to students. If you would like your event posted, please message the page.

Pearie Bruder asked me to pass along an invitation to her daughter Veronica's Bat Mitzvah on August 9.

Hey there. Veronica's Bat Mitzvah is Saturday, the 9th. I sent invites to the congregation, but just realized my Hillel friends are not in the directory. Please ask Hillel people to please come. We'll have a nice luncheon afterward and you are all welcome.
