The oceans have absorbed 93 percent of heat trapped by the #ClimateCrisis, making them hotter and more acidic. We’ve got to #ActOnClimate, stop damage to our oceans, and protect the food, jobs & coastlines that people depend on.

Up to 21 percent of the annual greenhouse gas emissions cuts the world needs can come from the oceans. We’re introducing the country’s first comprehensive bill to address ocean climate solutions. It uses the oceans’ power to fight #ClimateChange and makes marine and coastal ecosystems and coastal communities more resilient to the changes we know are coming.
