I have been to about a hundred conventions in my 25 years with the Jaycees and JCI Senate. This particular event was one of the best State events that I have ever attended ! Well planned, well execut...ed, and well attended. Derek and the rest of the Nacogdoches Jaycees really went above and beyond on this one !

The Game Wardens in Region 4, which includes East Texas and the Upper Gulf Coast, are a waste of tax money. Don Willis poached fish for 5 years from J.T. Lowery's Fish Camp in Nacogdoches County. Now ...he has moved across the lake to Angelina County, and is still making thousands of dollars doing it. See More

This group has given back to our community in many ways this year; some ways are visible, some are thankless and some are fun.

I’m proud of each and every one of you with how you’ve carried yourself and stepped up when needed.

We have a strong tradition of leadership set forth by our alumni. Thank you to all the Jaycees before us, who have set the bar high. This will continue as more and more men recognize the value of “us”, “we” and teamwork.

This organization is blessed by its members and its members bless this Nacogdoches community, but the true blessing is in knowing “Service to humanity is the best work of life!”

Thank you for a great year!

~Derek Snyder
2017 President
