About Paul
- Software programmer, database designer, and computer technical instructor.
Have been involved with fractal imagery ever since finding out about fractals back in the mid/late 1980's. I may not be a mathematician, but I do have college level math capabilities (one of my two degrees was in Engineering). Now I mainly work with computers doing IT and DP related jobs, and have been doing that professionally since 1974.
Before then, I was a Technical Illustrator and Graphic Artist (which is the other one of my two degrees). I have been, and currently am, a "Beta Tester" for many fractal generators. And quite a few of the major applications have implemented several of my ideas and suggestions over the years. These days, when it concerns fractals, my main interest is passing on knowledge to the average individual (who usually has never been involved with fractals) and letting them know where they can acquire the basic software for producing both formulas and images.
