I think the Washington State Nashville Country Stars is an outstanding program for our youth. I have been watching many of these young people grow and develop into amazingly talented singers and perfo...rmers. This is so much more than a competition. It gives the kids a chance to learn and develop their skills in front of an audience and on a stage. The dedication of Ed and his team is truly remarkable. Countless hours and travel go into making all this work. Countless hours of donated time and contributions from people and businesses go into making all this happen.

I recently read a complaint about the Star program and I feel so bad when these things are posted. It happens with every program or business from time to time. I read something about male performers not being treated fairly. This is so very untrue and unfair. I have been involved in music for decades. For whatever the reason, you just do not see as many guys involved with music, especially singing, as you do gals. Even back when I was in high School in a very strong music program, we only had about 1 out of 3 or 4 male singers. I am sure this is the case with the Stars program today. Perhaps even less today.

This is an outstanding program and I commend Ed and his team, as well as the judges, sponsors, kids and parents for all they do. Keep up the great work and to all the kids, enjoy and take advantage of this outstanding program. Feel lucky that this type of thing is even offered for you in Washington State. Two thumb s up, five stars and hats off to everyone involved.

Washington State Nashville Country Star opened a lot of doors for me. As someone who had no performing experience coming into the competition, I made it into the finals! This wouldn’t have happened wi...thout the support of the wonderful people running the organization. They truly want every one performing to succeed. I had the opportunity to come out of my shell in a safe, supportive environment. I wish I would’ve come into the competition sooner! See More

This is a great venue in support of young adults, providing a safe and fun experience to grow in their singing!! My niece has made great friends and life long memories. A great experience all the way around.

This Competiton is completely discriminate to Males. It is baffling to me that a male contestant was informed at intermission at the semi finals that he was absolutely amazing and currently in 2nd pla...ce and then he doesn't make it to the Finals. Another example, is a male contestant that was the only one to have a standing ovation and he also did not make it. The boys have worked so hard for nothing. Your website also shows that a male has never won or even placed highly. It is ridiculous that only 1 male made it to the finals when so many others had the same talent. It makes me very upset that your organization is like this. See More

This is a great program! It has sure grown since I was singing in it!

Friday night May 11th the stars will shine in Ephrata at the American Legion building starting at 7:00 PM. Then on Saturday May 12th they will be in Okanogan for a dinner and show starting at 6:00 PM. at the high school commons. Homemade spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. Great food and great entertainment who could ask for more. You might just feel like dancing when you hear the music.
