What a shame... This restaurant opened in Boulder with a bang. But after a couple of years of being the busiest most popular veggie/vegan restaurant Boulder ha...d ever seen, they started cutting corners. The customer service in the beginning was very good and very cognitive management and staff. Now, (aside from becoming so slow that they had to change closing hrs. from 10pm to 9pm), they are so damned rude and hate their jobs to the point that they consistently mess up orders (especially to go!!), drain the fountain drinks into pitchers 3 hrs before closing so that dust and dirt through the air can accumulate in them, and put any and all empty chairs up on the tables 2 hrs and more before close. What a way to make a customer feel special by stacking chairs/tables next to him to let him know to get the F out. AND, that's if they don't just say screw it and decide to close 30-45 min early and just go home. One reason they were successful in the beginning was the large variety of dishes people could choose from. But I n top of it all, the menu had repeatedly shrunk, and they are very often out of major ingredients or several dishes at a time.
I was happy to give them my business in the early days. Now it's a freaking joke and the only stupid reason I have barely gone there in the last year or two is because my kids still like the occasional dish there albeit they know to have low expectations at best.

I wish there were more locations in California! I live on the central coast and I'd make regular trips to Santa Barbara just for Native Foods.
Eating here convi...nced me that I wasn't going to die of food boredom if I went vegetarian. In addition to being an amazing place to eat, it's a great outreach to the general public to educate others about how delicious and exciting a plant based diet can be. See More

Native Foods is my favorite fast food spot! I love usually everything on the menus and like their portions are smaller sizes! They continue update menu option...s and keep some of the older good ones! I wished they could find and use local "Organic" ingredients. That is the only thing I would change otherwise it's almost perfect!!

I absolutely wished they had some on the east coast since I have to go to Chicago to get my fix. Please come to NYC or Jersey City!!

Just visited Chicago and lucked upon this wonderful place! Ate there everyday, especially since it was right next to my hotel in Hyde Park! Fell in love with Na...tive Foods from the very first bite, was never disappointed, my only complaint was that I didn't get the chance to try everything on the menu before I left... so wish you guys would open up locations in Ohio, there's a large growing vegan community in the suburbs of Cleveland See More

Tried the budda bowl , Baja tacos, native chopped salad, nachos, and kids burrito today. . My budda bowl was only half a bowl full and the teriyaki sweet potat...oes were covered in burnt sauce ....the nachos had no "vegan cheese" but covered in what tasted like fry sauce/ old guacamole.....the chopped salad was okay but the flavors didn't seem to mesh well....we All agreed the fries , ranch, drinks and tacos were good.....but altogether very disappointed in the food and will not drive 20 minutes to be disappointed again. I love this place, so when they came out with rice crispie treats drizzled in chocolate? My weakness! No mention in the menu, on the labeling, or by workers in ...the Glendale, CO, store of the peanut butter. I'm HIGHLY ALLERGIC, and when I called to check the ingredients, I was met with excuses ("oh, it only has a little!") and ignorance ("I don't know why it isn't advertised") and cheery callousness with no discernable sounds of concern ("did you have to go to the hospital?") and no offer to make it right. I'm managing a current reaction right now just from opening the bags. Guys, you broke my trust in you. See More

I go to the one in Boulder, CO. The food is great, but they never answer their phone, always run out of critical ingredients, mess up your order, and have the very sticky tables. GROSS!! If the food wasn't good, I'd only give 1 star.

I love Native Foods! Their Reuben is my favourite! Dennis loved the watermelon drink. I wish they would come to the Philadelphia, Pa area. It is sad that they c...losed the one in Washington, D.C. I went to their Grand Opening, and thought they. Would be around for a very long time. Hope the owners are successful somewhere else. See More

Creative and high quality food. Served fast-casual but quality and presentation is as good as a full service restaurant. Some of the menu changes seasonally so make sure to gorge on your favorites while they're there!

I ate at Native Foods for the first time last week and everything was delicious! The menu options were very interesting. The staff was great and the place was clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food is extremely tasty, but the portions are way too small. I am not a huge dude, and don't eat huge meals, but I've never left Native Foods without still ...feeling hungry. I usually go with the twister wrap, a tortilla with a few strips of fake meat, a few pieces of avocado, and some lettuce. I get a side of about 5 sweet potato fries... OR, I get the Thai meatball, which seems to fill me up more, but mostly on carbs... ONE MAJOR thing that would help, instead of offering buy one meal and 2 drinks, get one meal free, make it easier to get a deal... I do NOT drink sugary drinks, when I eat, I prefer to drink water. Oh. My. Gods. The entire time we were eating the Bangkok Curry Bowl (hold the cilantro on mine) we could not get over how amazing it was. So delicious! And the sweet potato fries with chipotle dip...amazing.
