We have been absent for some time; part of this has been related to personal and work related obligations, but more fundamentally it has been driven by a political crisis and rethinking of the scenario for the Latin American and International left. Here we provide extended coverage of the left's intervention in Argentina's presidential debate as a foundation upon which to dive into the contradictions of the FIT and its component parties.

We interviewed two members of Kokkino Nima (ex DEA) about the political debates which led to their split and their perspectives for the left in Greece. They provide a vital perspective on the debate around broad left parties and the consequences of Syriza's betrayal.
