Fantastic news from member company Yachting Developments who have just signed a new superyacht order, 33m (109’) Hull 1017, with work set to commence in Q1 of 2018. Hull 1017 is an all-carbon fast sportsfisher design that boasts sleek and sporty lines and will feature full carbon epoxy construction to achieve improved weight and performance. Naval architecture and design work is by fellow NZ Marine member company Warwick Yacht Design.

Every year the Safer Boating Forum (composed of boating and water safety organisations, central and local government, and NZ Marine) work together on a programme to reduce boating injuries and fatalities and improve boat safety behaviour.
