It has been a very long time! Happy 2018! I've finally gotten myself on instagram (I admit I'm struggling to understand it), I've linked it here so I hope to be posting far more frequently with progress shots of what all I'm working on.
I'm also excited to announce that I'm going to be attending at least 4 shows this year! You'll be able to find me at the following!
June 16: Art Among the Ruins...
July 21-22: Fantasy in the Forest
November 18th and December 2nd at the Strathcona Paper Centre
I want to say the biggest most grateful THANK YOU! to my dear friends and family that stopped by over the weekend. It meant so much to me!
For those who missed out, and are still interested, I'm extending the invitation throughout this week (just message to make sure I'm home), and through this weekend of the 15th, 16th and 17th. Please do feel free to drop in and visit if you find yourselves in the area!
They're here! I finished this year's second blank card, my Adoring Elephants
I want to invite anyone who is interested to come visit my studio (kitchen) over this week and next! I have all of my available work displayed, as well as things I'm currently working on, and for those super curious types you can look through my current sketchbook! Please consider stopping in just to say Hi!
During the week you can drop me a message to let me know roughly when you'll stop by and I'll make sure I'll be home, on the weekend (9-10th) the house will be open from 10am until 4pm (or later by request).
Where I'll be next - last show of 2017!
The sawdust flocking turned out great! The terrain flocking available for tabletop war-gamers and model-railroaders is crazy expensive, so I'm really thrilled with this outcome! I went with 3 different greens.
I also painted the unicorn last night!
The base is coming along! Tried making grass flocking with grated sponge but the results were kinda sad. Discovered a new way with sawdust, which I'm trying now! Wish me luck!
