The Solomon Islands are a group of islands just east of Papau New Guinea. Lately more people have been traveling there to visit and are amazed when they see darker skin people with blonde hair. • Initially they tried to say it was because they mixed with European settlers , but studies show that it is a gene specific to 1/3 of the population, and its a trait only they carry! • It amazes us, that it amazes so many people, but People of color come in all shapes and sizes!
