Cadets at Norman Composite Squadron begin their (s)UAS program by assembling a DJI Innovations Flamewheel F450 airframe as a part of Civil Air Patrol's Aerospace Education program. The power plant of the F450 will be four 2312E/960 KV motors, 30 amp ESC (electronic speed controllers) an 9" 9450 props. The controller will be a DJI Naza - M V2. This combination of parts should should be able to carry a variety of camera gear. Endurance testing should begin about the beginning of Summer.
