Please look at the new Code of Conduct sign that will be going up on the Shaw's land, these policies aren't new, only the signs are. Thanks for following them to help all users enjoy the facility.
As the trails transition from snow & ice to dirt, they go through a soft muddy period, so please don't ride bikes here until we post that they are dry enough to do so without causing damage. You can always email me to check on trail closures and conditions: ShawOC@norwich.edu

We are currently constructing a Mountain Biking Skills track at the Shaw building. We hope to open it October 6th!
NO ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKES ON PAINE MOUNTAIN.
Our entire trail network is off limits to any mototized bikes.
If they are not 100% human powered they are not allowed here!

Norwich's mountain bike trails at the Shaw Outdoor Center are open for the season!
The trails are too soft to ride. To minimize repairs please stay off them until further notice. Greatly appreciated!
The Shaw's trail groomer is still broken, so unfortunately no grooming for yet another weekend.
Some trail grooming has taken place, but the groomer deck broke before work was complete, so I cannot recommend biking Paine, but it's a true winter wonderland to get out on and enjoy without your bike.
Please stay off the trails today.
We will groom Thursday morning, and the conditions will be great again tomorrow afternoon.
