I purchased two boxes of the Nueva Cocina Coconut Raisin Rice Mix at a Big Lots store because I love bothe coconut and raisins. However from the minute I started cooking it, there it gave off such a ...sickening odor, that I knew it may have been a mistake. I kept hoping it would taste better than it smelled. My husband complained about the odor the minute he walked in the door. So I served it with dinner and we did eat some, but ended up throwing the rest out. This is the only one of the Nueva Cocina products I have tried but I was very disappointed.. I have never seen any of the other products in our area. Some of the ones pictured look quite good, but until I have a chance to try them, I can only give one star. See More

Best Taco / Steak / Chicken / Pork seasoning I have ever used to prepare a dinner..... but.... I cannot find it anywhere, anymore.!!!!

Love the Mexican Rice Mix! It is great with grilled fish, with a little bit of a butter/wine sauce. But I can't find the products in Sacramento any more. Is there some way I can purchase this and o...ther products on line? See More

I LOVED their taco seasoning and every other seasoning I could ever find. Fresh, flavorful & delicious! Please bring back your taco seasoning!!

Neuva Cocina's Mexican Rice mix is SO delicious, you'd never know it wasn't fresh-made. It has a special zing that is the result of perhaps a bit of dehydrated chopped jalapeno pepper added in.
