If you want the best Brexit deal for Britain, you need to vote Conservative on Thursday.
Not voting, or voting for anyone else, risks letting Jeremy Corybn and Diane Abbott into power – in charge of Brexit.
Buried on page 86 of Jeremy Corbyn’s manifesto is a Property and Garden Tax. It is backed by the Liberal Democrats and it will cost the average homeowner in England up to £3,837 in higher council tax bills.
'I have been talking to local residents in Bury North this weekend, about how, if elected, I can work with Theresa May to deliver the right Brexit deal for our area".

"Corbyn, Abbott and McDonnell would wreck our economy and create chaos for families across the UK. Only a vote for Theresa May and her team at this election can stop them. "
Delighted to have attended the Bardoc Anniversary. Marking their 21 years of operation in Bury And Rochdale providing out of hours GP cover.
Jeremy Corbyn: higher taxes, more debt, economic #chaos. Don’t risk the economic security of your family.
I am delighted to have been re-selected to fight the seat of Bury North at the upcoming General Election.
I look forward to the campaign and helping the Conservatives to secure a strong and stable government.
The Prime Minister has announced that there will be a General Election on 8 June.
In recent weeks we have seen the major opposition parties – Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the Scottish National Party – threatening to delay, sabotage and even scupper the Brexit process. I believe that the question of our membership of the European Union was settled by the British people in the referendum last year and it is now a question of how, not whether, we should leave the European... Union. Yet these parties continue to play politics with people’s lives and our country’s future.
It has become evident that in order to have the strong mandate and the presence in Parliament we will need to carry this forward, it is in the UK’s national interest to hold a General Election.
A General Election will provide a platform for each party to present its vision for the United Kingdom’s future as we leave the European Union. Every vote for the Conservatives will strengthen the negotiating hand of the Prime Minister as she seeks the best deal for the Country. and will provide the country with strong and stable leadership, and the Prime Minister with a strong mandate to carry out our plan for Britain.
Since I was first elected in 2010 I have always ensured I have been a strong and independently minded voice for Bury in Westminster rather than just the voice of the establishment in Bury. It has been a great honour to serve the people of Bury North as their Member of Parliament and to have represented so many talented people working hard in businesses, the public sector and charities right across our constituency.
I intend to ask the Bury North Conservative Association to re-select me as their Candidate for the Bury North constituency .
The choice before the people of Bury North is clear one: strong and stable leadership under Theresa May or weak and unstable leadership under Jeremy Corbyn.

As MP for Bury North I recently held an event to thank those involved in Bury’s many charities and voluntary organisations. A presentation was made to those attending by the Big Lottery’s Nasir Hussain during which he explained the application procedure and what to do to increase a charities chance of success.
I visit many charities throughout the year and I thought this was one way of being able to thank the volunteers who do so much to improve the lives of others.

Good News for Road Users in Bury
Good news this week for local road-users who will benefit from a dedicated £2.069m pothole fund which is part of a £1.2 billion fund for local roads the Government is allocating to councils to help repair roads and pavement.
This funding has come from the new National Productivity Investment Fund, announced in the 2016 Autumn Statement and the Pothole Action Fund.
...I receive lots of complaints about the condition of our local roads and with all the demands on local government spending this latest dedicated funding for roads and pavements should help.
My Submission to the GMSF
Submission to Greater Manchester Combined Authority Public Consultation
Draft Greater Manchester Spatial Framework
David Nuttall MP, Member of Parliament for Bury North...
Greater Manchester Spatial Framework Consultation
Despite the original plan to close the consultation period on the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework before Christmas the powers that be in Manchester have extended the period to 16th January 2017.
Understandably, this is a major cause of concern for many local residents as I can tell from the number of emails I receive about it. As the consultation period has been extended it is very important for as many members of the pub...lic as possible to submit their views – for or against.
The Website for the consultation can be found here:
Many thanks to the owner Hayley Taggart and her staff for hosting my visit yesterday to Bambinos – Bury’s newest children’s nursery. It takes great courage and determination to take the leap towards setting up a new business from scratch. Finding premises, finding the capital, negotiating the regulatory jungle, finding staff – and that is all before the most critical task of all finding customers.
With Bambinos Hayley has turned her dream of owning her own nursery into a reality. The premises have been refurbished and decorated to the highest standard. She has recruited qualified staff. Obtained all the necessary legal permits and approvals and is now open. Bambinos provides a superb environment for pre-school children to play and learn.
Scout Moor Wind Farm Inquiry
The Public Inquiry into whether the Wind Farm at Scout Moor should be allowed to expand is scheduled to start on Tuesday 11th October and last for eight days. It will be held at Futures Park Rossendale Borough Council with a 10am start.
Rossendale Borough Council resolved to grant planning permission for 14 turbines on 1 September, 2015. Rochdale Council further supported the proposals for two turbines within its area on 21 September, 2015. In December 2015, the project was called in by the Secretary of State which means that the future of the scheme will now be determined after the public inquiry next month.
