If there are any questions you want us to find answers for, just let us know. Chances are if your practice has the question, your colleagues do as well!

With the new Mass Health ACOs, we get a lot of questions from providers looking to find out if they are or are not participating. In the comments here, I'll post a link to provider directories, and they will tell you which plans you are active with for the new ACOs.
What’s the timeline for the new Medicare cards?
Do you know? We do...
The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015, requires the removal of Social Security Numbers (SSNs) from all Medicare cards by April 2019....
A new Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) will replace the SSN-based Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN) on the new Medicare cards for Medicare transactions like billing, eligibility status, and claim status.
Beginning in April 2018, CMS(Medicare) will start mailing the new Medicare cards with the MBI to all people with Medicare in phases by geographic location.
The transition period will begin no earlier than April 1, 2018 and run through December 31, 2019.
Starting January 1, 2020, you have to submit claims using MBIs (with a few exceptions), no matter what date you performed the service.
Are you ready?
Our Titusville, FL office might have the nice view with the palm trees and the sunshine, but our Taunton, MA office has all the goodies!! From chilly Taunton, MA we wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day with your loved ones!
If you receive one of these bright yellow envelopes, don't ignore it! It means you're due for a Medicare Revalidation. Scan or Fax it to Denise and our team will get this taken care of so your Medicare payments don't get held up. Sometimes these envelopes come to the billing address, but usually they go directly to the practice. Denise can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax 508-484-2008.
