Oh my gosh! My grandson and I had a great time! He is 6 years old an it was a perfect Halloween experience in a safe environment. "Scary but not too scary"!
I can't say enough about the staff. They r...eally made the experience for us. My time with my grandson is priceless and the Ghost Trolley ride will be a cherished memory! We will definitely be returning for the holiday tour! Thanks Everyone! See More

My son and I attended the Ghost Trolley event today and it was so fun and well run! He is 2 and loves, loves trains! You can tell that the volunteers are truly passionate about trains and there are so... many near things to see here! We can’t wait for the letters to Santa event! See More

My family and I drove over an hour to go on the Ghost Trolley just to be told that it was sold out. It was written on a Facebook post by a worker that as long as you showed up before the last tour the...n you would be GUARANTEED a spot. If this was the case, at least on the first night the tours should've stayed open late to accommodate all of the people that were turned away and then something could've been posted about the upcoming nights and how the tour can sell out so that this wouldn't happen again. We weren't offered anything for their mistake, just that we could try tomorrow to get tickets. Also, I checked the event on Facebook multiple times while driving up and nothing was ever posted stating that it was sold out to give me a heads up. It was a waste of time and money to drive there. It was a nice ride on an old streetcar. They had some other trains and we walked through several old trains with interesting stories. My mom and me enjoyed ourselves.

The Ohio Railway Museum is a Columbus area asset that has been dormant and shrinking for far too long, but I am thrilled it is still there and open, even if only one day a week. It was a thrill to see... N&W 578, the first steamer I ever rode behind, in the same place I boarded behind her 55 years ago. I was also glad to see the Erie doodlebug still there. I wish the museum would enlist the assistance of their neighbors at Silicott's in restoring the doodlebug to operating status, which can operate without catenary or electricity. It's hard to generate interest and visitation without operations, and a piece of functioning Erie equipment would draw railfans from all over the region, moreso than any of the electric equipment. To the general public, it won't matter either way, but an operating Erie doodlebug would be worth traveling to ride! See More

A fun place hidden away next to the rail line in Worthington. Many old engines, street cars, passenger cars await plus a small museum of interesting objects and facts. Volunteer staff is VERY knowledg...eable of the items on display, they offer train rides on their 1.5 miles of track. The people here are true enthusiasts... but don't expect shiny new vehicles, these old things are used and full of history. Great place to take the kids for a while and learn a bit. See More

People who give this place bad reviews just have unreasonable expectations. There is value to seeing some old trains without restoration, and the one we rode runs just fine. The ride wasn't long but i...t is an inexpensive history lesson for kids with some hands on experience. See More
