Calling all dancers ages 7-17! This is your chance to perform with the Moscow Ballet in The Nutcracker!

Held at The Dance Center in Cape Girardeau.

On Cue is excited to welcome and introduce Miss Emilia Schempp to our teaching staff! 😊

Emilia has been dancing since she was three years old. She trained with USA Ballet Academy in Bloomington, Illinois for fifteen years. There she focused her study in ballet, specifically the Russian style of Vaganova. Emilia has also trained in jazz, pointe, modern, lyrical, and tap. During her time at USA Ballet Emilia was both a member of Jr. Company as well as the USA Ballet Youth Ense...mble. Within the Youth Ensemble Emilia had incredible performance opportunities, ranging from corps work to soloist roles. She learned original choreography from classical repertoire including; Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, The Sleeping Beauty, Coppélia, Snow White, Cinderella, and Les Sylphides. She has also competed at Youth America Grand Prix in both the Junior and Senior divisions. Among these performance opportunities Emilia has been able to perform within her community as well. To list a few, she worked with the Normal Community West Marching Band as she was selected to be the featured dancer in their show, The Ugly Duckling. She was also asked to dance for the Normal Community West Chamber Orchestra at the Illinois District Music Festival, and been invited to dance with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra for their holiday concert. Besides performing, Emilia enjoys sharing her love for dance by teaching other students. She has taught at USA Ballet Academy for two years and has been a rehearsal assistant for the Youth Ensemble for four years. Currently Emilia is a sophomore at Southeast Missouri State University pursuing a double major with Dance and Physics.

DJ will be teaching a Tap class 7-8pm and Michael will be teaching Hiphop from 8-9pm! Both are fabulous instructors!

No dance experience required! Classes are perfect for beginners to seasoned dancers! It's a great workout and stress reliever!

On Cue Performing Arts Studio is honored to be asked to be a part of the VintageNOW show on October 22nd!

We will be performing the opening of the show. We are looking for guys and gals, ages 18 and up, who would like to be a part of the cast. This role will be as a NYC citizen (1940's).
