As we say goodbye to my dear friend Larry Conley. I would like everyone to take a moment out of there day and think about that one time at the race with Larry. Weather hanging with us or on top of Larry's bus. Just seams like yesterday and will never be the same. Gus
Thanks Ed Clark for nothing, after 42 years of attending Atlanta Motor Speedway. Bristol complains about shitty weather, and you think Atlanta will be better. I'm going to Alabama to spend my money.. Talladega here we come in 2015. If anyone is looking for prime fence spots, please contact me as I will be giving them up.
Ready to attend the race again at AMS.... Just heard some interesting news that the Labor Day race will be moved in 2015 to March 1st. Bring the umbrellas and snow shovels back out! I'm thinking the person responsible for negotiating with other tracks to change the schedule, should lose their job and go work for the Government which would appreciate such lack of talent. In the mean time, we look forward to seeing everyone this next weekend.
Well, we had a great time at the race this past weekend! Here is a link to a quick video of Southside Steve, Axel, Gus aka Kevin and some moonshine! https://twitter.com/southsidesteve/status/373902778990854145
I hope to see everyone at the track this year as we continue to make many more memories. As always, anyone that brings a camera. Please post here after the race and tell all your friends about the great time they missed. (rated PG please)
See Ya this weekend!
Hey - we have two spots ON THE FENCE on the infield of Atlanta Motor Speedway for sale.
They are both great spots and you just can't get any closer!
You can enter the infield at 2p on Thu Aug 29th and stay until Monday. You must purchase armbands for each person when you get there....
Spot 157 is available and spot 170. We are asking $500 each.
Spot 170 is extra long and a car will easily fit behind your camper/rv and there is no one behind you - just pull right in.
Spread the word. Thanks much!
Can you believe we'll be heading to the track next month?! We are excited and looking forward to seeing everyone. And to make some fabulous memories - as always!! Remember the ice sculpture from last year....Papa John showing up and filming a commercial....SSS hanging with the gus bus crew....and the list goes on!! Give us a shout out.
We will be meeting at Martin's Restaurant at 2185 Veterans Memorial Highway SouthwestAustell, GA 30168 at 11am Sunday morning. Then we will head up to Killer Creek Harley and should be there about 1ish. Meet us at either place! See you soon.
