Share our excitement about a new Data Analytics Tool concept and feature – “Table Function.” It’s like a data table (students, customers, courses ..), but it takes its own parameters, enabling dynamic calculations. So far, we have added one table function – “Customer Balance Details”, but it’s perfect for illustrating the concept. If you pull “balance” field from “customers” table, you will see a specific number that is calculated using some defaults (it uses all GL accounts,... it takes the balance as of today, it only uses posted records and uses all ledgers). However, the concept of balance is not a static field, but rather a function of all these parameters and the value may be different if you change these parameters. Using “Customer Balance Details” table function, you can really take your reports to a different level, specifying the exact time frame and other parameters for the balance calculation. Since we have added an option for each user to control the visibility of columns in Students grid, we now have an option to expand the list of available columns. We have just added Phone and Email columns which can be enabled using the gear button in the top right corner. Are there any other fields you would like to see there?
We have simplified the process of managing student data merging Admin and Registrar portals (new name: Admin). Also, as promised, we are releasing Admin dashboards. What widgets would you like to see there?

We are thrilled about our new standard report in Data Analytics Tool. [Admin] Class List produces a list of classes and enrolled students. Using directory mailmerge, we have produced a data source that allows pretty-printing the results. As usual, any school can customize each one of our predefined DAT reports. Data Analytics Tool is a critical component of our School Management System as it empowers every user to create comprehensive reports, charts, and exports.
PCR Educator’s Online Applicant Review system can be used for multiple purposes: interviewing process, application rating, application decision-making process. In each case, a school may select specific individuals who have access to specific data for the applicants assigned to them. Interviewers, raters or members of the decision committee can then record the results of their interviews, their ratings of the application or their recommendation for admission. [Admissions] Inquiries w/Evaluators is a new Data Analytics Tool report which provides a list of all applicants matching the specified status and admissions year with all evaluators assigned to them.
We are continuing to explore different applications of the “directory” format of mailmerges. [Health] Student Medications report serves as a data source for producing a directory of students with their medications. Using Data Analytics Tool, any school can create an unlimited number of reports, letters, directories, exports, and charts connecting data from any department. Because PCR Educator’s School Information System is driven by a single integrated database, you can leverage the power of data increasing inquiry traffic an revenue while eliminating unnecessary expenses.
We are excited to add new standard reports created using our Data Analytics Tool. [Health] Students with Health Issues is unusual because, in addition to displaying the requested data, this report is also serving as a mailmerge data source for creating a directory of students with their health issues. We used the “directory” mailmerge option to allow grouping each health issue under each student’s name.
We have added Next Action and Last Action data fields to Development Asks (Opportunities) table in Data Analytics Tool. Stay informed about all your active asks, their current status, latest activity and planned tasks with these new fields.
